| 8. | Select at least one closing to include with the exported deposit by checking the Total checkbox. |
| 9. | Select a Deposit Date. |
| 10. | Press the Export button. |
RetailEdge will then export the selected closings to QuickBooks.
Note: RetailEdge will allow you to merge many different closings to one QuickBooks deposit. This can be useful if you are want to export many different register closings for one deposit or if you are consolidating closings from different dates into one deposit.
RetailEdge does not list whether a deposit was exported to QuickBooks. The best way to make sure that you don't duplicate deposit exports from RetailEdge is to open QuickBooks (QuickBooks must be loaded on the machine where the export takes place) and look at the checking account register. This will quickly let you see what the last deposit taken to QuickBooks was and you can then match this to the RetailEdge closing report dates.
