If you are using RetailEdge on the same computer you are using to stream music to the store and you receive a pop-up in RetailEdge (like, are you sure you want to change your last cost...etc) Windows will send this sound through the store speakers. Not the best customer experience!

You cannot specifically disable RetailEdge sounds, but you can disable System Sounds in Windows, which does include the RetailEdge sounds. Try the following:

1. Hold the Windows key down and hit R.
2. Type in ‘control’ and hit enter.
3. Click Hardware and Sound header.
4. Click Sound header.
5. Go to the Sounds tab.
6. Change the Sound Scheme from ‘Windows Default’ to ‘none’ or ‘No Sounds’.
7. Hit Apply.
8. Hit Ok.

This should disable these Windows Sounds on the Computer you are using for music.
