Hi, I am getting charged .50 per transaction from Discover because of 'invalid or missing cvv', which I believe is the credit card verification number.

Is there a way to configure PCCHarge / RetailEdge to prompt for this value, either in 7.5 or 8.x? I'm still on 7.5 but have been meaning to upgrade for about a year :>


I'm using PPI / PCCharge / Retailedge 7.5. I coudn't find mention of it in the docs.

Version 8.0 handles CVV for credit cards with PCCharge Version 5.6 or newer.

Also check with your processor about the charge. Our processor has told us that when you are processing credit cards when the card is not present, the values that effect the the rates are the street and zip values. CVV is really just another few numbers that are used by you to verify that the end user has the card present. Anyway its worth a discussion with your processor. This might be Discover specific and just a charge that gets passed on to you from them.
