There can be differences between the total sales reported by the Clerk Sales report and the Sales Manager. The differences are typically cause by:
1. Sales that did not have a clerk assigned to them. These will not show in the Clerk Sales Report.
2. Gift Certificate Sales. A Clerk Sales report is typically used to provide information for clerk sales commissions and so does not include gift certificates sold. Showing the gift certificates sold in this report would artificially inflate the clerks' sales numbers (because they would be getting credit for the sale and redemption of the gift certificate).
