The receipt printing options are controlled on a workstation basis. So you should be able to turn the receipt printer off for a particular workstation or print to a different printer. This is very typical. For instance one workstation might be printing receipts at the Point of Sale to a tape style receipt printer but a back office workstation might be printing to a windows printer for invoice (full page) receipts.
To change your printer, simply choose Workstations from the Tools | Settings menu and modify the workstation that you want to have not print receipts. Then press the Receipt Printer tab to No Receipt Printer.
A few more things.
1. You should check that your workstation settings are correct and you are editing the workstation you think you are editing. RetailEdge will allow you to log in on multiple workstations with the same workstation ID. So look at the top of your screen and make sure that the RegID matches the RegID you are editing.
2. Another option rather than turning off receipt printing completely is to have RetailEdge ask you each time if you want to print a receipt. If you don't you just have to press escape (ESC key on your keyboard) when completing a Sale to have RetailEdge not print a receipt. To do this choose Workstations from the Tools | Settings menu, modify the workstation and press the Receipt Options Tab. Then you would choose "Ask for receipt count before printing receipt".
Hope this helps.

We want to turn receipt printing off on only one machine. We were able to do this before, but ever since we reinstalled RetailEdge on one of the machines, we can only make changes globally. How can we fix this?
