minimum system requirements for RetailEdge?

is this system requirement is enouugh for RetailEdge

* Windows 9x 16 MB RAM,
* 40 MB minimum hard disk space,
* 800 x 600 minimum resolution, and
* CD ROM drive

Version 7.5 will still work with these requirements, however, it will not work with Vista. In addition we no longer sell this program so unless you are looking for a new computer for an existing system you have, this is really not that relavant.

This is not sufficient for RetailEdge 8.1. You need to have a minimum of XP or Vista. These operating systems will require that you have much more RAM and hard disk space. In addition, RetailEdge 8.1 requires 1024 x 768 monitor resolution if you are going to use the touchscreen features. Also Version 8.1 is PADSS Validated so if you are processing credit cards through the program you must have the newer version. One of the reasons we stopped selling Version 7.5 was for this security reason.
