We are a start up an tried our first export of retailedge to quickbooks but are encountering an error message. Error 3140 appears during download and it says there is an invalid reference to Quickbooks account "merchandise sales: Non-taxable Sales" in the general journal credit line. We can not find this reference in either retailedge or quickbooks, can someone point me in the right direction?

This error just means that you don't have all your accounts properly mapped. Here is a good forum posting that talkehttp://www.retailedge.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=96. Take your time and go down the list and follow the steps listed and make sure all the accounts are setup and exist in RetailEdge and QB.

Let us know if you need more but this takes care of 99% of the problems we see.
