RetailEdge 8.2.12 Release Notes

This release is primarily a maintenance release to fix issues in 8.2.11.

Enhanced Features

1. Modern Retail Integration now supports Customer Street 2 field for customers with multi-line address information.

2. Modern Retail Sales with Sales Tax Information that does not match RetailEdge's expected value will automatically Add a coupon with tax adjustment amount, Increase tax total by adjustment amount and decrease sub total by adjustment amount.

Fixes

1. Date Filter on Closing Message report now works properly.

2. RetailEdge will no longer allow running the same report twice because it causes access violations.

3. Modified the program update message (again) to make it clearer that Windows 7 or Vista users must run the update as an Administrator in order for the program to update properly.

4. Copying a Purchase Order will now pick up the new date selected instead of using the existing Purchase Order's date.

5. Deleted Purchase Orders can not be copied. Purchase Orders now must be undeleted first to make sure users are aware of the limitations of undeleting purchase orders.

6. Purging Inventory function now works properly with the speed optimized SQL statement.

7. Pressing the Copy Sale button, Print Receipt button or Double Clicking the empty space on the Inventory Manager Sales Tab when there are no sales will no longer display an error.

8. Deleting a Purchase Order with items that have never been sold or received will now automatically delete the items from the inventory. This prevents place holder or mistakenly created items from bloating inventory.

9. RetailEdge will no longer display an error after performing multiple register closings without exiting the program first.

10. The current sales tax jurisdiction associated with a sale is now kept with the sale when a user changes the customer on the Sales Screen, the Ship To box is checked and they choose to keep the current sale's settings.
