We have inventory loaded and I would like to add sales from April 1 through today. Is there a way to add these sales so I have an accurate reflection of the month?

There is a way to enter sales and associate those sales with another date. On the sales screen, you can press Ctrl-Alt-D which will allow you to specify a date for this particular sales transaction. When you post the sale, if will have the date you enter instead of today's date.

There are two gotchas. First, this option only works with the traditional sales screen and does not work with the Touch sales screen. Second, while the sales will have the new, different, date, the closing report will have today's date. In the long run, this should be OK as your general sales reports will use the new sale date vs. the closing date.
