Many users have been asking us to have RetailEdge work on a mobile device. We have tested and certified RetailEdge to work on the HP Slate 2 (http://shop.retailedge.com/product.asp? ... d=RTE00115) with the HP Retail Mobile POS Barcode Case (http://shop.retailedge.com/product.asp? ... d=RTE00114).

This coupled with RetailEdge Island (http://shop.retailedge.com/product.asp?pfid=RTE00095) will allow you to ring in sales, walk the floor with customers, and line bust.

RetailEdge Island is a full copy of RetailEdge with synchronization capabilities built in that allow it to run RetailEdge whether you are connected to the store's data or not. (http://www.retailedge.com/mobile_POS.php).

When setting up the HP Mobile POS Barcode Case, you will be required to add a carriage return (CR) on the end of the scan. The code you need to do this is on our FTP site at ftp://ftp.highmeadow.com/pub/Support/Sl ... r%20CR.pdf. Just scan the 4th barcode on the sheet and you should be ready to go.
