TO Post means that your inventory has been adjusted because you have posted a transfer order. TO Unpost means the item has been put back into your inventory because you unposted a Transfer Order.

When you put an item onto a Transfer Order it does not do anything to the inventory quantities. However, when you post the TO, then RetailEdge removes the item out of the FROM location and puts it into an In Transfer To status. So essentially that item is not in either location (FROM or TO). Think about businesses that are transporting goods from one location to another (think that the item is on the truck). Then when you receive the item into the TO, the item is moved from IN Transfer TO and and put in the TO location's inventory.

This is important to know especially when you are doing physical inventory. If you have a number of transfer orders, you should make sure that they are either unposted or fully received when you do your end of year physical so that you don't account for items that are In Transfer To (unless they really are on the Truck).
