Why does the "Closing Summary Report by Day (Summary)" for the month of March have a different figure than "Summary Sales Tax Collection Report" for same period? Is this a rounding issue?
The Closing Summary Report by Day (Summary) lists Sales Tax amounts for each day and totals. This total is 11 cents higher than the "Summary Sales Tax Collection Report".

What you are seeing is the two reports are pulling from two different databases. One allows sales tax to be rounded to 4 decimal places and the other is already truncated to two decimal places. When you run these reports over longer periods of time these small differences can add up.

Although not technically incorrect, In version 8.2.25 we will be truncating the value to make sure that both reports are displayed correctly.
