Updated to version 8.2.26, when we go to payment screen and enter a amount in cash, we used to be able to just hit the enter key to complete the transaction, we now have to hit it 2 or 3 times. Same is exact change hit + key then have to hit enter or go to post sale. Will this be changed back to the way it was?

In the last version we had to actually slow down the ability to post. The ability to enter the amount and then the F9 function key should be the same. In addition you should be able to just press the + key on exact change and have the sale post. However, if you for instance don't use the the F9 to post or you are taking $60 cash for a $50 sale, then we are requiring that you press the Enter key twice. The first enter confirms that you want that particular amount in the particular payment method and the second posts the sale. Some customers were saying that their sales were posting too quickly. For instance when going back to enter customer information, or 100% on a deposit. This just makes sure that the user really wants to post the sale. It should only be 2 times though and only when pressing the Enter key to post. If you are seeing something else let us know.

This really slows things down. If a customer tenders 30.00 for a 26.00 sale we used to be able to enter 30. and press enter once, now it just sits there while we are sacking the merchandise and waiting for the receipt, only to realize we have to press enter again, it doesn't prompt us to, but we have to. Makes things a lot more complicated than it used to be.
