Is there a way to force an employee to finish out a sale?

I ask because we had an employee not finish a sale. They added all the items and gave change, but never printed a receipt and the sale was never recorded. I think they just cleared the sales screen.

There are security actions you can turn on that will prevent, discounting a sale, returning items and removing items from the sales screen. That would prevent them from clearing the sales items.
