Getting Customer Information Quickly
- RetailEdge only needs either First Name, Last Name OR Company to enter a customer name into the database.
- Have the customer fill out a card to enter your loyalty program or become a part of your discount club. You can always enter this data later.
- If you don't have time to enter the data now, you can associate a customer with the sale after it has been posted by right clicking the sale on the Sales Manager and choosing Change Customer.
- The Customer ID can be automatically assigned or you can use First Name Last Name or Company or even e-mail.
- You can set the Sales Screen default to start on the Customer Tab so your clerks remember to add the customer information. (Tools | Settings |Workstation Settings)
- You can require a sale to have a customer with each sale if you really want to force the issue.
