I've been using retail edge for a little over a year & a half. I have not yet used the "open sales" feature. On my first attempt, I found that a minimum of 10% down payment is required. Can I set it for less, perhaps 5% or override it on a need to basis? Thanks, Mary

I think you are referring to is Open Orders. This is one of RetailEdge's deposit mechanisms (Layaways is the other).

To set the default minimum open order %, choose Locations from the Tools|Settings menu item and Modify the location. Then on the Register tab you should see an option to lower or raise this value.
