Ok, so yesterday we used RE 8.0 live for the first time. I was shocked when i ran closing and saw a sheet of all zeros printed for register 2. I figured i would just deal with it in the morning.

So now its the morning, and upon closer examination it seems that register 2 was never opened for sales. It still isn't, and it wont prompt me for starting cash or let me reinput the number thru the tools->settings->workstation->modify->misc tab either.

I have checked my network conntections. it shares the DB just fine, and all other network traffic is normal, so i dont believe its a network issue.

Checking the info in Tools->Settings->workstations it shows that register 2's in-use flag is set to NO.

Thanx in advance for a speedy response (i need my second register). Thank you as well for your quick replies to my pervious concerns.

Edit: I managed to solve this problem with a reinstall. Not elegant, but functional.
