I am trying to import a DOS based .DAT file into RetailEdge 8.0; so far, with no luck at all. The .Dat file is Btrieve I believe. Is there a conversion utility that will allow me to convert this file to a usable format? The .DAT file is 32 MB+, so editing it manually would be tough.

RetailEdge does allow the importation if inventory (and other data). Please see the following thread for more information:

A good way to learn the import format is to do a REDI export and look at the file (e.g. in Excel). The structure is a hybrid combination of an ASCII file with some HTML-like tags. [/url]
