I use the Windows XP Firewall and I need to open up ports for RetailEdge.

What Ports does the RetailEdge Server Use?

The RetailEdge Data Server needs the following ports to be open for TCP access:

12005
12006
12007
12008

In the Windows Firewall settings form, select the Exceptions tab. Click on the "Add Port" button. You'll need to provide a name (e.g. RetailEdge Data) and the port number (e.g. 12005). Then click OK. You'll need to repeat this process for each of the ports (12005 - 12008).
