Hi guys! We don't use Retail Edge to process our charges and we have a number of customers that provide a "card on file" that we use to process charges every month.

With this last update we can no longer read the credit card data stored in RE. And since we don't use RE to charge we need to be able to read the numbers and enter them into our terminal. What's the best way to get access to this data again.

The credit card masks have been added to the program to enforce better credit card security and to allow RetailEdge customers to be compliant with credit card processing standards.

There is a secure work-around that will allow authorized personnel to view the credit card number. While in the customer editor, press Ctrl-Alt-N. RetailEdge will ask for a Clerk ID and password. We strongly recommend that you keep the access level set to a high value for credit card viewing.
