Based on Minimums and Maximums

To automatically generate a purchase order based on your existing inventory's minimum and maximums:

1.	Choose Auto Generate PO\|Based on Min/Max from the Inventory\|Purchase Orders menu item.

2.	Select Reorder from the Available Filters list.

3.	Select which Minimum and Maximum criteria to use.

4.	Select whether you want to include amounts already on order in the reorder calculation.

5.	Add the selected filter to the Current Filter list.

6.	Select any other available filter criteria you want.

7.	Press the Ok button.

The quantity of each item placed on the purchase order will be either the number of items required to bring your inventory to the item's minimum (if the maximum is set to 0) or to bring your inventory to the item's maximum. Items with minimums set to 0 will not be added to the purchase order.

Based on Sales

To automatically generate a purchase order based on item sales histories:

1.	Choose Auto Generate PO\|Based on Sales from the Inventory\|Purchase Orders menu item.

2.	Select Date Range from the Available Filters list.

3.	Add the sales date range to the Current Filter list.

4.	Select any other available filter criteria you want.

5.	Press the Ok button.

The quantity of each item placed on the purchase order will be the number of items sold for the specified date range.

The purchase orders will be created with the PO number PO_DATE_X, where DATE is the current data and X is the number that is assigned based on the last AUTO PO in the purchase order list. You should always check purchase orders after you auto-generate. You should edit the purchase order name, orderer and check to ensure that the ordered quantities are correct (to account for season etc.).

Note: If multiple locations are selected when generating the purchase order, the items will be generated all on one purchase order with the quantity specified for the particular location(s).
