2.Move your new EBT Payment Method to where you want it to be located in relation to other payment methods on the Sales Screen.

How does it work?

RetailEdge will use the custom subtotal value on the sales screen to create an EBT subtotal for payment.

1.RetailEdge will allow a maximum of the EBT Subtotal value to be applied to EBT payment.  You can use the exact change button (+ key) on the traditional sales screen or double tap the EBT/SNAP payment method on the touch sales screen.

2.If this is the total amount of the sale, RetailEdge will start the integrated credit card process.

3.You can't charge sales tax on items that are paid for by EBT.  RetailEdge will automatically remove sales tax from all EBT items during this process.

4.If the sale contains some EBT eligible items and non eligible items, you will need to select a payment method for the remaining non EBT eligible items.  Once the total has applied to all payment methods, RetailEdge will start processing the sale.   EBT payments will be processed first.

5.If a partial EBT approval is received, if necessary, RetailEdge will add EBT Sales Tax Adjustment Items to the sale, to correct the taxable portion of the EBT items paid for with EBT.

6.EBT eligible and non-eligible items on a sale will be processed separately with each payment method.  If there are taxable EBT eligible items on the sale, corrections to the totals may be made after the EBT payment portion response is received.
