Exporting Data

RetailEdge can export much of its data to ASCII text (*.txt or *.csv) file formats to allow you to view or manipulate the data in another program or in the case of customer information send it to mailing houses for customer mailings.  RetailEdge also exports some information in a REDI (RetailEdge Data Interchange) format to allow you to import this data into another location.  This can be useful if you are on the road working on purchase orders or working on a disconnected sales register and want to import the data into the main locations data at a later time.
