Printer Slip (in millimeters per page)
Printer Slip X(Across) Y (Down): If your labels are not lining up on sheet fed labels, setting the printer slip will help. All printers have some amount of slip and this varies with the printer, the printer age and the media used. Printer slip is small (millimeters) and so is usually not noticeable when printing text on a regular sheet of paper. However, a printer slip of few millimeters when printing labels can be the difference between the text being on or off the label.
Printer slip values are in hundredths of a millimeter and represent the slip across the entire page. A Y printer slip of 300 means that your printer is slipping 3mm by the time is gets to the bottom of the page. Printer slip is incremental across the page. So if you set the slip to 300 to move the text 3mm at the bottom of the page, the adjustment in the middle of the page will be 1.5mm (300 x 1/2).
You can change printer slip in positive and negative increments.
