Filtering Reports

Most reports in RetailEdge can be filtered.  After pressing the Ok button on the Report Selector, a Filtering screen will be displayed.

Adding Filters to a Report

To filter a report:

1.Select an Available Filter from the left hand box.

2.Select or type in the appropriate filtering criteria in the middle of the screen

3.Press the Add button to add the filter to the Current Filters list.

Changing Report Filters

To change the current filter criteria:

1.Highlight the Current Filter you want to change.

2.Change the filtering criteria in the middle of the screen.

3.Press the Replace button.

Filters are not required for most reports.  If a report filter is required it will be added to the to the Current Filter list (e.g., sales report date range).  Once you are done filtering the report, press the Ok button to run the report.   Date ranges are remembered to help you run a number of reports for a given date range.

Note:  As the size of your inventory, sales, location information grows it becomes VERY important to filter your data to minimize the amount of data generated and speed up the time it takes to generate a report.
