| 8. | RetailEdge will then find the item by the Look For criteria and sort the Manager list by the column chosen. |
Find By Criteria
When you select a row in the Manager or List, RetailEdge will highlight the entire row and the column where the cursor was clicked will have a reverse highlighting (typically white). By default the Find screen, will be displayed with the Find By box set to this column. The exception is the Sales Manager.
Sales Manager Searches
Search Find by criteria is saved from the last search and is limited to Ticket Number, Customer ID, Customer Last Name, First Name or Company. Sales Manager searches by customer criteria will find all sales for a particular customer regardless of date. When the particular sales ticket is selected, the sales manager will automatically be redisplayed for the particular date on which the ticket was sold.
Interior Pattern Matches
RetailEdge searches will find the first item with your desired text (from the beginning of the word) and then re-sort the list by selected column. The search can also be set to perform an Interior Pattern Match and find partial matches that are not the first part of the text you are searching for. Interior Pattern Match searches will be slower.
