If you want RetailEdge to start up and go directly to the Sales Screen, you can setup RetailEdge to run in Sales Only Mode. Sales Only Mode will:

 

1.Enter the Sales Screen immediately when you start the program.

 

2.Remove the Toolbar when using the traditional Sales Screen, preventing employees from accessing these functions.  

 

3.Display only the Register and Help menu items.

 

4.Close the program upon exiting the Sales Screen.

 

 

To run in Sales Only Mode:

 

1.Find the RetailEdge icon.  This is usually found in your Windows Start menu or on your Desktop.

 

2.Right mouse button click the icon and choose Properties.

 

3.Press the Shortcut Tab.

 

4.Append /Sales to the end of the Target line.  ("C:\Program Files\High Meadow Business Solutions\RetailEdge 8.2\RetailEdge_8_2.exe" /Sales).

 

5.Click Apply to save your changes.
