Displaying Summary or Detailed Information

Some reports have the ability to be summary or detailed reports. As a general rule the difference is:
| 1. | Receiving Reports. Summary lists each item received for the date range selected. Detailed shows every item received, but will have an entry for each time an item was received/updated into inventory. |
| 2. | Purchase Order Reports. Summary lists the total quantity of a particular item on a purchase order. Detailed shows every instance of an item on a purchase order for each purchase order. |
| 3. | Sales Reports. Summary lists the total number of items sold during a given date range. Detailed shows an item quantity for each time an item was sold during the given date range. |
