Getting Workstation Status

To get the status of all workstations at any time choose Locations from the Tools menu item. This will display the Workstation List. The workstation list will show:
| 1. | Workstation Location. |
| 2. | Register Name. |
| 3. | Register ID. |
| 4. | Flag: In Use. Whether the workstation is using RetailEdge. |
| 5. | Flag: In Sale. Whether the workstation is in a Sales Screen. |
| 6. | Flag: In Close. Whether the workstation is performing a closing operation. |
Note: Checking the workstation status can be useful when you want to perform certain critical RetailEdge operation that require the workstations(s) stop using the program (i.e., backing up, closing all registers, updating program files, etc.)
