Payouts are used for applications when cash needs to be taken out of the drawer for any reason other than a sales transaction (e.g., deliveries, hardware purchases, meals, etc.). To add a payout type

 

1.        Choose Payout List from the Tools menu.  

 

2.        Press the Add button on the Payout List.

 

3.        When the Payout Editor is displayed choose a location for the Payout you are creating.

 

4.        Type in the Payout ID and the Description.

 

5.        Press Save to create the new Payout Type.

 

Note: The Payout ID should be something descriptive since you must choose a Payout ID when you are performing a payout.
