Creating Sales Quotes

To create a sales quote or estimate you should use the Saved Sales mechanism.

1.	Enter the quote items on the Sales Screen,

2.	Assign a customer to the quote.

3.	Enter any appropriate discounts.

4.	Press the Save Sale button or F10 function key.

RetailEdge will then save the quote for future reference.

To recall the quote at a later time, press the Recall Sale button on the Toolbar, find the quote you want to recall. If you want to convert the quote to a sale, press the Recall button. RetailEdge will automatically copy the quote items, the customer, and discounts into the Sales Screen. You can make any changes you want to the quote and then re-save it with the new information. If you post the sale then RetailEdge will ask you if you want to keep or delete the saved sale (quote).
