Exchanging Items

To exchange an item simply:
| 1. | Place the exchanged item's SKU or Item ID in the Find Item box on the Sales Screen Items tab. |
| 2. | Press the Ctrl key and N key together. This will change the quantity of the selected item to a negative amount. |
| 3. | Place new item's SKU or Item ID in the Find Item box on the Sales Screen Items tab. |
| 4. | Press the F9 function key or Page Down key to display the Payment tab. |
| 5. | Using the Arrow keys (↑↓) highlight to the desired payment method. Type in the amount given for the purchase if the amount is non-zero and press the Enter key. Otherwise press the F9 function key to process the exchange. Note: Press the Plus key (+) if you are given exact change. |
