Inventory > Creating Inventory Addons

If there is an addon associated with a particular item, the list of addons will be displayed after entering the item on the sales screen. Addons are useful when you need to always sell particular items when you sell another item. For instance you always need to sell a cable with a particular printer. Or if you simply want to prompt your sales staff to ask the customer whether they want a particular addon item at the time of sale.

Associating Addons with an Inventory Item

To add an inventory addon to an item:

1.	Edit the item you want to associate an addon item with.

2.	Press the Addons tab on the Edit Inventory screen.

3.	Press the Add button.

4.	Search for the addon item and once you have found it select the item from the list press the Ok button.

5.	Continue to add as many addons to the list as you wish.

6.	Adjust the position of the Addons in the list as they will appear on the sales screen by pressing the Up or Down button.

7.	Check or Uncheck Automatically Load Addon Items in Sales Screen. (Useful for bottle deposits, items that always go together, etc.)

Deleting Addons from an Inventory Item

To delete an inventory addon:

1.	Edit the item you want to delete the addon from.

2.	Press the Addons tab on the Edit Inventory screen.

3.	Select the alias from the Current Addon Items box.

4.	Press the Delete button.
