Inventory > The Inventory Manager

Most RetailEdge inventory information can be instantly viewed in the Inventory Manager. The Inventory Manager is designed to give you a quick snapshot of your inventory items with quick links to the Sales Manager and Customer Manager. The Inventory Manager can be viewed by pressing the Inventory button on the Toolbar or by pressing Ctrl-I. The Inventory Manager allows you to:

1.	Select and edit an existing inventory item.

2.	Create a new inventory item.

3.	View item Pricing information for all locations.

4.	View item Quantity information at all locations.

5.	View item Sales information for all locations.

6.	View item Receiving information for all locations.

7.	View item On Order information for all locations.

Quantity Information includes:

1.	On hand quantity (Physical Amount In inventory)

2.	Allocated quantity (Quantities allocated to open orders or layaways)

3.	Available (On Hand - Allocated)

4.	On Order (Quantities on purchase orders)

5.	On Transfer To (Quantities on posted transfer orders)
