Receiving > Printing Matrix Parent Labels

Sometimes it can be time consuming to individually tag sized (matrix) items with different labels for each matrix dimension. If you want to save time tagging items, you can:

1.	Open the Inventory Manager by pressing the Inventory button on the Toolbar.

2.	Find the matrix parent for the items you want to print tags for.

3.	Press the Labels button on the Inventory Manager.

4.	Select the number of labels you want to print (you will be able to see the total number of all matrix items on the Quantity tab for the matrix parent item).

5.	Press the Ok button.

When this label is scanned on the Sales Screen, RetailEdge will display a list of all matrix items and allow the clerk to select the size or color that is being sold.

Note: This can save time and minimize tagging mistakes up front but can cause errors at the checkout if a clerk selects the wrong item being sold.
