Receiving the Same Item from Multiple Vendors

There are a couple of ways you can setup your inventory if you receive the same item from multiple vendors. You can either:

1.	Create one of each item for each vendor. This makes it easier to see how many of a particular item you have from each vendor. The items will have separate vendor numbers and this will make it easier to reorder the items.

2.	Create one item. This can make it easier when you are taking physical inventory or when clerks are trying to determine how many of a particular item is in stock.
