Restarting the RetailEdge Server

You can restart the RetailEdge Server if a problem arises by:
1.Select the Windows Start Menu. (Icon on the lower left hand of the screen or pressing the Windows (Command) Key on your keyboard.
2.Type in Services, Windows should suggest the Services Desktop App as the top result.
3.Right click on the Services Desktop App and select Run As Administrator.
4.On the Services Window Scroll down and Locate the RetailEdge_Server service.
5.Right Click on the RetailEdge_Server service and Select Restart.
Note: This should not be done unless all users have exited of RetailEdge. Restarting the computer will also restart the RetailEdge Server. You should really never have to manually restart the server this way. However, sometimes if other computers are accessing data on the computer on which the server, it can be inconvenient to have to restart the computer.
