RetailEdge is always being updated and refreshed as a part of our Software Maintenance Program.
The Software Maintenance Program (SMP)
For a small monthly fee, users can automatically receive regular program updates. These updates include basic maintenance fixes but also include a steady stream of new program functionality and features. The SMP allows us to continually improve the program and distribute these improvements out to our customers in a timely fashion. We want our customers to benefit from new features immediately instead of having to wait until the "next big release" is complete.

Our goal with RetailEdge is to provide our customers a feature rich, flexible program that not only saves money on the initial purchase but also reduces on-going expenses like credit card processing, maintenance, updates and training that can be associated with business systems.
Technical Support
We provide free US-based technical support for a full 90 days. This is significantly more than the industry standard 30 days. This provides our customers with support for features that they might not get a chance to use in the first 30 days (quarterly reporting, sale tax issues, physical inventories, etc.). After the initial 90 days we offer optional affordable technical support plans that also include software updates.
Credit Card Processing
RetailEdge has a direct link to CardConnect, Global Payments Integrated and Worldpay Integrated Payments. This eliminates the need to purchase additional programs and provides a seamless integration. All of the integrated processors should be able to give you the lowest rates available.
RetailEdge is no longer a PA-DSS validated application. Although data stored in the program is stored and processed in a secure manner, we are focusing on out of scope solutions. This we feel provides our customers with an easier path to PCI compliance and provides greater system security. More information about our out of scope solutions and what it means can be found under the Out of Scope Solution section of this Help and Manual.
POS Peripheral Device Support
RetailEdge is not limited to working with only a few different POS devices. RetailEdge is designed to work with many different types of cash drawers, receipt printers, touchscreens, displays, and label printers so that we can provide you with an affordable solution for your hardware needs.
