RetailEdge will also support OPOS devices.  OPOS gives you the ability to install virtually any type of supported device, however the manufacturer must have an OPOS driver for their device.  So, if you don't see a specific device in the Device List and the manufacturer provides an OPOS driver, you should be able to get it to work with RetailEdge.  Typically the installation of these devices is more complicated.  Using the devices found in the Device List and a standard Windows driver will give you the best out of box experience.
