Single Location Businesses

If you are using RetailEdge in a single location  you do not have to have to be connected to the internet.  However you may want to have reliable fast business class high speed internet access to allow you to:

 

1.Retrieve periodic maintenance releases

2.View RetailEdge information from a remote location.

 

Multi-Location Businesses

Although you can use many different methods to connect to the internet and all of these should work with RetailEdge, in a multi-location business where you are synchronizing data between locations, you will want to have at a minimum reliable fast business class high speed internet access.
