Sales Management > Voiding Sales

If you want to void a sale:

1.	Open the Sales Manager by pressing Ctrl-M.

2.	Select the sale type you want to void by selecting Layaway Sales, Open Orders or Sales History from the drop down box.

3.	Find the original sale by pressing the F4 function key or pressing the Find button.

4.	When you have found the sale, highlight the sale and press the Void button in the Sales History or Cancel for a Layaway sale or Open Order.

Hint: If you are trying to void the last sale made, after opening the Sales Manager, press the Ctrl and End keys together. This will bring you to the last completed sale.

Note: You can void sales only from un-posted sales sessions (not closed). For security and reporting reasons, you cannot void sales from past sales sessions. If you want to correct your sales history for a past sale you should perform and exchange or a return.
