Greetings RetailEdge Users! With the RetailEdge 8.2.55 Update we added the ability to set a Credit Card amount threshold. So if a sales total is below the threshold amount, the system will no longer prompt for a signature or print a customer signature slip. This feature works with Vantiv, Cayan and OpenEdge integrated processing. The feature was implemented to align with the 4 major Credit Card brands (American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa) dropping the signature requirement. Enabling the threshold is completely voluntary, but I know that after speaking with many of you over the past few years many of you have wanted this feature.

To turn on this feature:

1: Select Tools | Settings | Workstations

2: Modify the Workstation.

3a: Select the Select the Credit Card 1 of 2 Tab.

3b: Enter in the dollar amount that you would like to set your threshold to.

4: Once you select save, your threshold will be set.
