RetailEdge 2025.11.2 Release Notes

This release fixes a few issues introduced in Version 2025.11.1 and adds a few new features.
When you see an update available, be sure to install it to keep your system running smoothly and up to date.
New Features
1. Added ability to delete all data from Island Workstations when these workstations might be stolen or lost.
2. Added additional troubleshooting reporting for Remote Error Logs.
3. Added warning to Global Payments integration that indicates when a failure occurs because of an attempted blind refund (return not tied to an originating ticket).
Fixes
1. Department Filter no longer ignored on Sales – By Location with OnHand Quantities Export
2. Inventory manager Item ID filter now works properly.
3. Purchase Order Vendor Note popup no longer displays under Vendor dropdown in certain circumstances.
4. Column headers now fit in default column widths on Manager and List screens.
5. The proper change is now given with Penny Rounding with Always Round Down Option.
6. When using exact change and location settings are set to Enable Automatic (Penny Rounding) and the sale is rounding up, RetailEdge no longer warns the customer about overpaying the sale.
7. Customer Display now clears rounded amount after exiting the sale.
8. Using Ampersand character in matrixes no longer cause matrix definition to display an underlined character in the Item Editor.
9. RetailEdge now more frequently checks card processor credentials so that failures do not occur if RetailEdge is running for long periods of time without a restart.
10. Touch Sales Screen – Price Below Cost warning now properly allows you to prevent the change in all cases and prevent posting a sale.
11. Increased Performance (Sped up) of startup registration process.
12. Labels Button on Package Editor is now displayed and a Ctrl-L accelerator key added.
13. Removed receipt printing prompt when voiding a sale in the Sales Manager and no default receipt printer is selected.
14. Inventory Manager filter no longer displays a table error during certain filter operations.
15. Changed text on Update Price Wizard to Last Action Date from Last Activity Date Filter for clarity.
16. Inventory Manager filtering on Last Date now works properly.
17. Label Designer no longer prints deleted label definitions.
18. Selecting certain filter criteria in the Inventory Manager filter, now properly displays the selected criteria in the center for all filters.
19. Inventory and Customer Manager filters now allow quicker entry of more than one stock number (or other text criteria) to be added to the filters through multiple scans or keyboard entry.
20. Octopus Bridge Integration now properly skips sales with no line items.
21. Fixed Clerk Commission Filter on Clerk Sales Commission Report Filter.
22. Updated Copyright Year References to 2026.
23. Multiple Changes to the RetailEdge API.
24. Fixed Purchase Order CSV Inv_DefaultQuantity importer error.
25. Discount Amount on Tape Style Receipts in VAT mode now shows longer shows correct dollar amount.
26. Sales Screen better refreshes the clerk associated with the sale after a security timeout or manual log out.
27. Customer Manager Export of Sales tab grid now works properly.
28. Reorder by Sales report on-hand values now properly match values in RetailEdge.
29. The correct item is added to a Transfer Order when editing the transfer order and adding an item via a Find operation.
30. Quantity Space SKU (for quicker greater than 1 quantity sales) now works on the Touch Sales Screen.
31. Copy Workstation Settings now remembers window sizing.
