RetailEdge 2025.11.1 Release Notes #

This release fixes a few issues introduced in Version 2025.11.1 and adds a couple new features.
This release also marks the beginning of a new version sequencing approach that will help RetailEdge deliver bug fixes more quickly, introduce smaller program updates more efficiently, and reserve major feature enhancements for biannual releases. This strategy provides the ideal balance between introducing new features and maintaining program stability.
Going forward, you can expect more frequent, smaller updates and more stable major releases. When you see an update available, be sure to install it to keep your system running smoothly and up to date.
New Features #
1. Added an Always Round Down option on Automatic Rounding, to allow businesses to round down with penny rounding (giving the customer the best price).
2. Removed the warning to change Location Passwords regularly. RetailEdge is not storing any sensitive cardholder data and the strict password change policies mandated by PCI DSS do not apply. RetailEdge users should change their passwords regularly as it is a good security practice.
Fixes #
1. Fixed resource error when Updating inventory from receiving.
2. Fixed automated Update Utility that performs data fixes during an update.
3. Reverted behavior on Touch Sales Screen that takes the user back to the Sales Screen after editing an item and pressing Enter.
4. Fixed performance issue when saving a matrix parent item on a Purchase Order.
5. Fixed issue when deleting new items on a purchase order (that have never been received or sold) that would delete other instances of that item.
6. Updated License Information screen to modern RetailEdge look.
7. Text is no longer cut off on the Receipt Emailer form.
8. Adding matrix items to a PO via a parent no longer creates a duplicate key error under certain conditions.
9. House charge payment screen with multiple displays no longer gets hidden under customer display.
10. Reorder – Sales without Cost Report no longer freezes with large amounts of data.
11. PO Lines Export Shifts User Field 1 content into Inv Weight Unit field.
